Virtual Surround Sound with HRTF Precision
FOLA is the first Tanchjim earphone to feature virtual surround sound simulation powered by the HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) model. It reconstructs spatial acoustic cues—front, rear, and distance—from stereo channels, giving an enveloping surround effect normally achieved by multi-speaker setups.
Through the TANCHJIM CENTER App, users can activate 7.1 or 5.1 channels on PC or Android devices and choose between different spatial modes (Large, Normal, or Small Room) to tailor the surround experience. The app supports EQ/PEQ customization, 5 preset B&K 5128-based equalization curves (HARMAN 2013/2016/2019), and even user-submitted sound profiles. Settings can be saved and carried across connected platforms (PC, Android, Switch 2).
DMT5 Dual-Magnetic Dynamic Driver
The DMT5 driver architecture uses an inner and outer magnetic circuit with dual cavities, providing strong magnetic flux and precise diaphragm control. Its PU suspension + DLC dome composite diaphragm balances elasticity and rigidity—deep, dynamic bass and clean, extended highs—for true-to-source audio reproduction with THD under 0.048%.
